Welcome!

I strive first to ensure that I have a complete understanding of each patient’s goals and concerns and then work tirelessly to see that your treatment goals are met and concerns addressed. I consider it an enormous privilege to be actively involved in the fight against cancer and am consistently touched and impressed by the patients I meet in the course of fighting this battle.

I was born and raised in the Santa Clara Valley and completed both my undergraduate and medical training here (Stanford and UCSF.) Although the vast majority of my time is devoted to the care of patients at Kaiser’s Cancer Treatment Center, when I am not practicing medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family.

If we have the opportunity to meet for a consultation, I want more then anything to ensure that your specific questions are answered and individual concerns addressed. I ask only that you consider no question too silly or request too burdensome. It is my pleasure and eagerly accepted responsibility to assist patients in their battle against disease.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
