Dr. Jang was born in Brooklyn and grew up in northern New Jersey. She attended Northwestern University where she received a B.A. in biology. She went on to Northwestern University Medical School and graduated in 1999. Dr. Jang completed her internal medicine residency at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. She was a part of a primary care private practice in Manhattan for 3 .5 years before she and her husband decided to relocate back to the bay area in the summer of 2006.

Dr. Jang is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She has an interest in women’s health issues and preventive care.

In her spare time, Dr. Jang enjoys reading fiction, hiking, and spending time with her husband and young daughter.
