Biography

I was born and raised in the Phillipines. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center in 1999. I obtained my license to practice physical therapy in the Phillipines, where I worked as a physical therapist providing Home Health care. During that time, my practice included mostly geriatric patients.

In 2002, I came to the United States and fulfilled all of the California physical therapy licensing requirements. I worked as a staff physical therapist at an outpatient orthopedic clinic in San Jose for about one year before joining the staff at Kaiser Permanente in 2004. I feel fortunate to be a part of the Kaiser Permanente staff, because it allows me to focus on interacting with patients, which is what I love to do.

In my spare time, I enjoy listening to the radio, taking long scenic drives, swimming, and playing volleyball and basketball. Since I am new to the Bay Area, I would like to know if you have any suggestions about places I "must see".

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
