Welcome to my home page...

I look forward to meeting you and helping you improve your health and well-being.

I am proud to say that I am a Bay Area native. I grew up in Fremont but left home for college at UCLA where I developed an interest in medicine and community health. I then pursued a combined MD/MPH (masters in public health) degree at New York Medical College where I found a passion for women's health.

I then returned home to do my residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Stanford University Medical Center. While in residency, I received awards for excellence in patient care and laparoscopy. I also served as administrative chief resident during my last year. I am thrilled to be practicing at Kaiser Mountain View and look forward to providing all aspects of obstetric and gynecologic care to my patients.

My professional interests include minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and vaginal surgery), obstetrics and preventive medicine for women. I take pride in offering you some of the newest techniques in gynecology such as Novasure endometrial ablation, hydrothermablation, laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy and Essure (permanent sterilization).

I am married to a Kaiser physician and we share our home with our adorable Maltese puppy Pinky. I love to take advantage of this beautiful region by hiking and biking and enjoying great restaurants. I also love to take trips to exotic locations- my favorites are the Maldives, Belize and Thailand. In my spare time, I volunteer at the Mountain View RotaCare Clinic to provide gynecologic care to women without health insurance.

Please utilize this website to learn more about Women's Health and feel free to contact me via email for any non-urgent questions.

I want to be sure all of your concerns are addressed. Should you forget to ask a question during your visit, please leave a message at (650) 903-3020. Please be sure to include your medical record number so that we can access your records quickly.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
